Sandbox Wisdom!!!
Admitting that you have made a mistake is one of the hardest things that we as humans struggle with. It is too bad that we spend more time making excuses than working to repair the damage. We try and mask what we have done so that we can convince ourselves that we were right all along. Knowledge is defined as knowing stuff yet wisdom is knowing when to apply the knowledge. The gap between the two is wider than any ocean. Adults tend to use their authority to make irrational decisions. We only have to look at modern government to see this at its finest. Yet most of the world’s problems could be solved in the sandbox because children do not hold the prejudices and hatred that overtake so many grown-ups. Admitting our shortcomings and asking for forgiveness, opens a world of help, trust, and hope. Who would you like to mend fences with and what hope have you given lately??
